Contrary to popular belief, it actually DIMINISHES your street cred to show them off like you're amazing for drawing stripes on your face and calling yourself Naruto.

And another thing, how come nobody seems to understand what punk is these days? It's really sad, actually. It's not just the style they can't recognize, it's the music. They're convinced that if they just turn anything with a guitar in it up to 11, it immediately becomes punk. And that's the thing, punk isn't just about loud music, and a style, it's a fucking lifestyle, and there are so many different branches of punk that aren't loud at all. It's not about the sound as much as the words, I think.
